About PLC
PLC Consulting Training Tools Translations (“PLC”) was founded by Alex Lueders in Frankfurt in 1995.
- Set-up of four PLC service areas: Translations and Tools (1995), Trainings (1996) and Consulting (2000), and development of an extensive expert network over more than two decades
- Development of a highly efficient training method that allows business professionals and corporate executives to swiftly learn English as a foreign language, for application in their specialist fields
- Since 1996, continuous development of PLC‘s unique training concept for teaching purchasing professional a combination of English language skills and the specialist, commercial and cultural knowhow required for global sourcing
- Since 1996, specialist training programs and events in cooperation with national and international purchasing associations
- Since 2000, design and implementation of executive coaching concepts, change management, communication, strategy development and implementation support at corporate level and for individual functions / departments
- Since 2007, cooperation with EAS GmbH in a variety of client projects dedicated to strategy, communication, post-merger integration and optimization programs for small and medium-sized companies, including shareholdings in private equity portfolios and as part of M&A activities
- Since 2010, development and continuous advancement of procurement tools and methods, e.g., for the structured development of commodity strategies and supplier portfolio strategies
- Since 2010, training and coaching of leaders and international teams in procurement transformation projects. PLC supports the advancement of operational, tactical and strategic competencies and agile organization models in procurement & supply management to generate a high value-add for the business
